In 1987, Nic. J. Theocarakis S.A. distributed 8,860 cars in the Greek market, only 360 of which were not manufactured in Greece. If we count the sales of both passenger cars and light trucks, Nissan remained at the top of the market between 1981 and 1993. The Nissan Cherry, Nissan Sunny and 100ΝΧ were assembled in the plant in Volos.
