The 1st Athens International Motor Show was held, initiated by the Association of Motor Vehicle Importers Representatives, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. The Motor Show attracted 150,000 visitors. It was yet again organised in 1997, 1999 and in 2001. In 2003 the Motor Show was held at the former
East Airport of the Hellenikon which attracted the interest
