and mainly Note (2006-2011), enabled Nic. J. Theocarakis S.A. to offer cars that met the most diverse requirements and needs of an ever-expanding consumer public.
Two years before the end of the decade, on May 21, 2008, Nic. J. Theocarakis S.A. introduced a new marketing policy focusing on recycling, based on the triptych «Respect the environment - Reward recycling - Implement the ‘‘Green and Win” program». This program was addressed to anyone interested in recycling or who had already recycled
an old car and was then rewarded with a discount of up to 2,500 euros when buying a new Nissan. This incentive
was given in addition to the company’s flexible financing programs. At the
time, there were about 5 million cars circulating in Greece, nearly 1 million without a catalytic converter, which had significant effects on the environment. Nic. J. Theocarakis S.A., demonstrating its environmental awareness and consciousness, was the first company
in Greece to implement a recycling
