The decade 1971-1980 was a period of rapid growth for Nic. J. Theocarakis S.A. In 1973, the constructions for the company’s headquarters, at 169 Athinon Avenue, were completed. Beginning of 1974 the headquarters were inaugurated. Nic. J. Theocarakis S.A. had already inaugurated its facilities in Thessaloniki at 24 Leontos Sofou Street, since the early 1960’s, decisively expanding into Northern Greece. In 1969, the facilities at 27 Mitropoleos Street in Thessaloniki were inaugurated, as did the facilities at 177-179 Monastiriou Street in 1976. That same year, in 1976, the foundations were laid for the premises in Kalochori.
In 1976, TEOCAR Ltd. was established, at 268 Thivon Street, manufacturing cargo beds for pickup trucks. Three years later, in January 1979, the foundations were laid for the TEOCAR S.A. plant in Volos, a facility that complied with European, as well
